Product Head – Solar Power & Renewable Energy
Function Purpose
To lead and grow the Renewable Energy Insurance portfolio by guiding & advising specialized insurance solutions, providing risk advisory expertise, and driving business development across solar and other renewable energy sectors to achieve profitable growth and market leadership.

Role Purpose
The Product Head – Solar Power & Renewable Energy will be responsible for developing and leading the Renewable Energy Insurance Practice with a primary focus on solar power projects while also covering wind, hydro, battery energy storage systems (BESS), green hydrogen, and other renewable energy segments. The incumbent will drive product strategy, client engagement, insurer relationships, technical underwriting support, risk advisory, business development, and team capability building to establish ARIBL as a preferred insurance broker for renewable energy clients.
Key Expectations of the Role
Product Strategy & Development
Develop and implement the Renewable Energy Insurance product strategy.




Design creative insurance solutions for solar, wind, hybrid, and other renewable energy projects.
Identify market trends, emerging risks, and opportunities within the renewable energy sector.
Build specialized insurance programs for EPC contractors, developers, IPPs, investors, manufacturers, and lenders.
Business Development
Support sales teams in acquiring large renewable energy accounts.
Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and proposal discussions.
Develop relationships with project developers, infrastructure companies, financial institutions, and consultants.
Drive revenue growth and achieve annual business targets.
Technical Risk Advisory
Provide technical guidance on risk assessment and insurance structuring.
Review project contracts, financing requirements, and insurance clauses.
Advise clients on optimal insurance coverage throughout project life cycles.
Support complex underwriting and placement
