Job Description

A highly motivated GIS professional with deep expertise in ESRI/Smallworld technologies, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in complex enterprise environments.

Location: Bengaluru & Hyderabad

Department: Engineering

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Education: Bachelor’s or master's degree in Geomatics, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 5 to 7 Years

Requirements

What you’ll Do

Lead end-to-end GIS data migration between GE Smallworld and ESRI Utility Network.




Analyze and map Smallworld schemas and data models to ESRI Utility Network.
Design migration strategies for structure networks, domain networks, asset groups, asset types, and associations.
Handle network topology, connectivity rules, containment, and association migration.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and post-migration quality checks.
Support cutover, rollback, and delta migration strategies.
Strong hands-on experience with ESRI Utility Network (UN).
Domain Networks, Structure Networks, Asset Groups & Asset Types.
Network Rules, Associations, Connectivity & Containment.
ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro.
Strong understanding of Smallworld GIS data models.
Experience extracting and transforming Smallworld utility data.
Exposure to Magik-based environments.

Must Haves

Data Migration & ETL:

Large-scale utility GIS data migration experience.
FME or FME-alternative migration approaches.
Python / ArcPy-based migration frameworks
