Job Opportunity: Network Support Engineer (L1) – Hyderabad (Work From Office)

Location: Hyderabad

Work Mode: Work From Office

Shift: Australian Time Zone (24/7 support & rotational shifts)

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days preferred

Summary

As a Network Support Engineer (L1), you will be responsible for providing L1 level support for Global IT infrastructure. You will play a key role in monitoring network performance, handling bandwidth analysis, and coordinating with ISPs and third-party vendors for issue resolution.

Roles And Responsibilities

Provide L1 level support for Global IT infrastructure.
Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, Manage Engine, Cisco Prime, NAGIOS.
Perform proactive monitoring of Cisco R&S;, HP Aruba, Ruckus Wireless, WAN and ISP links.
Handle bandwidth utilization analysis and generate availability and trend reports.
Respond to alerts/notifications configured in monitoring systems.
Carry out basic network operations: VLAN creation, port/user mapping, DHCP, wireless connectivity troubleshooting, etc.




Coordinate with ISPs and third-party vendors for issue resolution.
Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change & Configuration Management.
Work with ticketing tools like ServiceNow for issue tracking and resolution.

Requirements

Proficiency in ticketing tool, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, and other network monitoring tools.
Strong knowledge of Routing protocols, Virtual private networks (VPN), Switching protocols, and Wireless networking.
Excellent communication skills for ISP coordination and international client coordination.
Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Suggested skills: Experience with Cisco CCNA/CCNP, ITIL certification, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) would be a plus.
