Job Purpose:

Lead electrical engineering activities for clean energy projects by managing power system design, engineering execution, procurement support, construction coordination and commissioning of electrical infrastructure and power distribution systems across project lifecycle stages.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering activities for electrical systems including power distribution, substations, utility systems and associated electrical infrastructure.

- Plan project power requirements including load estimation, source configuration, backup systems and grid connectivity strategies.

- Manage electrical engineering budgets, project schedules and technical deliverables aligned with project objectives and execution timelines.

- Drive procurement support activities including technical specifications, bid evaluations, vendor reviews, FAT/SAT coordination and manufacturing follow-up.

- Coordinate with engineering consultants, vendors and multidisciplinary teams for closure of engineering deliverables and interface requirements.

- Conduct and review electrical power system studies including load flow, short circuit, relay coordination and system reliability analysis.

- Support construction power planning, site electrification and implementation of temporary and permanent electrical systems.

- Facilitate installation, testing,



commissioning and startup activities for electrical systems and support troubleshooting during stabilization phases.

- Coordinate with subsurface, process, piping, instrumentation and project teams for integration of electrical systems with plant and field infrastructure.

- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, statutory requirements, DGMS guidelines, electrical inspectorate approvals and HSE requirements.

- Support operations and maintenance teams in steady-state operational reliability, fault analysis and corrective action implementation.

- Prepare project close-out documentation, technical reports and capitalization summaries for completed systems.

- Mentor and guide electrical engineering team members through technical supervision and capability development activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Masters/ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

- 12-18 years of experience in electrical engineering within clean energy, energy, petrochemical, industrial gas or process industries.

- Experience in conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering for industrial or process-based projects.

- Solid understanding of electrical systems including substations, power distribution, load management, UPS, VFDs and grid connectivity.

- Familiarity with power system studies using ETAP or equivalent software platforms.
