Job Summary

Caledon Technologies India Pvt LTD is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our growing technology team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java development, backend architecture, API integration, and enterprise application development. The candidate must be capable of handling end-to-end development activities, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance applications.

This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for building robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to understand project requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Ensure application security, stability, and performance optimization.
- Work closely with DevOps and database teams for deployment and maintenance activities.
- Maintain proper technical documentation for projects and processes.

Required Technical Skills





- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Java 8/11/17
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
- Experience with Microservices Architecture
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs & Web Services
- Experience with Hibernate / JPA
- Good understanding of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins
- Experience with Apache Kafka/RabbitMQ is an added advantage
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines preferred
- Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS/Azure is a plus

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidate should be willing to work from the Bangalore office full-time
- Strong ownership mindset and leadership qualities
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments preferred
