ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Engineer to design, implement, support and continuously improve Asite's global IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, security and performance of enterprise systems across on-premise and cloud environments.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, vendors and the wider technology team, you will lead infrastructure initiatives, resolve complex technical challenges and mentor junior engineers. You'll play a key role in maintaining secure, resilient and scalable IT services that support our global business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIE

- Design, implement and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments
- Administer Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure/AWS and virtualisation platforms
- Manage enterprise networking including LAN/WAN, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls and wireless infrastructure
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
- Implement cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability management, patching strategies and security compliance controls
- Mentor junior IT Engineers while providing technical leadership during projects and critical incidents
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and vendor relationships to support continuous service improvement

Must have

- 5+ years' experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Engineering or Enterprise IT Operation
- Strong hands-on experience administering Windows Server and Linux setting
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Active Directory,



Azure and/or AWS cloud platform
- Solid understanding of enterprise networking including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs and firewall
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V or similar virtualisation technologie
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skill
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high standard of English.

Nice to have

- Experience with PowerShell, Bash or Python automation scripting
- Experience implementing backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Exposure to enterprise cybersecurity frameworks and security operations
- Experience supporting global IT infrastructure across multiple locations
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical initiative

Educational qualification Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
