Key Responsibilities
- Concept & Layouts: Prepare space planning, functional layouts, mood boards, and aesthetic design concepts according to client requirements.
- Technical Drafting: Develop accurate 2D working drawings, floor plans, wall elevations, electrical/plumbing layouts, and furniture detail drawings.
- 3D Visualization: Create high-quality 3D renders and visual models using SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar design software.
- Client Interaction: Present design layouts, material samples, and finish options to clients and incorporate feedback.
- Material Selection: Select and source materials, finishes, lighting, fabrics, and furniture items.
- Site Coordination: Visit project sites to take site measurements, clarify design intent with site supervisors and contractors, and ensure accuracy.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in interior designing (Residential / Commercial).
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Software Proficiency: Robust hands-on skills in AutoCAD, 3ds Max / SketchUp, V-Ray, and Photoshop.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic to intermediate understanding of interior materials, carpentry details, hardware, and site execution process.
