The EHS Executive is responsible for implementing and maintaining Environment,
Health & Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws,
company policies, and industry standards. The role focuses on promoting a secure
workplace, preventing accidents, supporting environmental sustainability
initiatives, and fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HEALTH & SAFETY
* Implement EHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
* Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and audits.
* Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and follow
up on corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with PPE requirements and safety standards.
* Conduct safety inductions and periodic training for employees and
contractors.
* Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including fire drills and
evacuation exercises.
* Monitor compliance with permit-to-work systems and lockout/tagout (LOTO)
procedures where applicable.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company environmental
policies.
* Monitor waste segregation, disposal, and recycling practices.
* Maintain records related to emissions, waste management, water, and energy
consumption.
* Support environmental improvement initiatives and sustainability programs.
COMPLIANCE & DOCUMENTATION
* Maintain EHS documentation, registers, and statutory records.
* Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
* Ensure timely submission of compliance reports and statutory returns.
* Track corrective actions and verify closure.

* Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness campaigns.
