This is a full-time on-site role for a Ward Executive / Discharge Summary Typist at Dr Mehta's Hospitals in Chetpet, Chennai. The role involves compiling and typing discharge summaries, coordinating patient discharge processes, updating electronic health records, and ensuring accurate documentation and data entry.
Qualifications
Proficiency in medical terminology, transcription, and data entry is an added advantage
Excellent typing speed and accuracy
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced healthcare environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure
Previous experience in medical records management or healthcare administration is a plus
Diploma or certification in Medical Transcription is an added advantage
