B2B Sales Representative — Industrial Machinery (Gujarat)

We're hiring one person to open the Gujarat market for a manufacturer of complete collapsible aluminium tube production lines.
The product is a full line, not a machine. Aluminium slug goes in one end, a printed, capped, leak-tested and sealed tube comes out the other — 16 stations, 12 process steps, Siemens PLC and servo control throughout, tube diameters from 13.5mm to 35mm. The manufacturer has been building only this one product for 28 years and has over 240 lines running across Europe, East Asia and West Asia. India is the next market.

What You Would Actually Do

Find the plants in Gujarat and sometimes other states, that either make collapsible aluminium tubes today or are considering bringing that packaging in-house. Get through to the plant director, the procurement head, or the promoter. Qualify them properly. Then set up a technical meeting with the manufacturer's engineering team in China and brief them before it starts.

You are not signing anything. You are not quoting delivery. You find the right company, confirm they're real, and hand over a conversation that's worth having.
Most of your prospects will be in Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Vapi. Some will be outside Gujarat and you'll travel — that's paid for.

Who This Is For

Someone who has sold capital equipment, industrial components, or packaging machinery in Gujarat and knows what a factory floor looks like. You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to be comfortable when a production head starts asking about extrusion pressure, coating cure temperature, or leak detection rejection rates — comfortable enough to know what you don't know and get the answer rather than bluff.
