Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and adaptable In-House Advocate to join our legal team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, be up to date with the latest technology, and possess excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills. This full time role involves managing a variety of legal tasks and supporting the company in day-to-day legal matters, ensuring compliance, and effectively liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management: Track and manage the company’s legal cases (India and abroad), updating the case tracker (MIS) regularly. Familiarity with Notion software is a plus.
Stakeholder Management:
Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including managing external counsel communications and fee negotiations.
Court Visits: Attend court hearings (physical/virtual) as the company’s authorized representative and provide timely updates.
Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements efficiently with a high level of attention to detail.
Case Preparation: Prepare case summaries and compile relevant documents for external counsels.
Legal Research: Conduct research on policy matters that may impact the company, and stay updated on relevant changes in laws and regulations.
Legal Representation & Liaising: Draft legal representations and liaise with government departments and industry associations.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required for legal matters.
