Mobile & Application Platform Engineer - Connectivity (MAP)

We are looking for a Mobile & Application Platform Engineer to develop and maintain connectivity features between wearable devices and Android companion applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop connectivity features using BLE, Bluetooth Classic, Wi-Fi and tethering.
• Build C++ and Kotlin modules using Android connectivity APIs.
• Develop reliable solutions for device pairing, data transfer and connection management.
• Debug connectivity issues across the Android application, framework and HAL layers.
• Work with different teams to implement end-to-end connectivity protocols.
• Optimize wireless connectivity for power consumption, latency and throughput.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions and technical documentation.

Required Skills
• 3-5 years of Android application or platform development experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Kotlin.




• Valuable understanding of Android SDK connectivity frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with BLE, Bluetooth Classic, Wi-Fi and tethering.
• Experience with ConnectivityManager and related Android system services.
• Understanding of Services, AIDL, Binder IPC and background execution.
• Debugging experience using ADB, logcat, btsnoop, Wireshark and HCI logs.
• Familiarity with Gradle, Soong/Blueprint and Git.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with wearable devices, IoT platforms or companion applications.
• Knowledge of Android Bluetooth stack internals or AOSP connectivity modules.
• Experience with Qualcomm or MediaTek Bluetooth/Wi-Fi chipsets.
• Experience connecting native C++ modules with Kotlin using JNI.
• Knowledge of power profiling and battery optimization.
