Summary:

As a Senior Full Stack GCP Engineer , a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native applications and microservices using Java Spring Boot on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The role requires building scalable and secure enterprise solutions, developing REST APIs, implementing event-driven architectures, and automating deployments using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver high-quality software, ensure application reliability, monitor production environments, and support continuous improvements. This position demands solid expertise in cloud technologies, backend development, DevSecOps practices, and modern application architecture.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and microservices using Java Spring Boot on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build and deploy scalable applications using GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, and Cloud Functions.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade REST APIs following industry best practices.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Google Cloud Pub/Sub and Eventarc.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Google Cloud Build.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Follow DevSecOps principles and implement secure software development practices throughout the application lifecycle.
- Configure monitoring, logging, observability,



and distributed tracing using OpenTelemetry and related monitoring tools.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture documents, and operational runbooks.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure high system availability.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and best practices.
- Integrate cloud services and enterprise applications to support business requirements.

Must Have Skills:

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run, GKE, and Cloud Functions.
- Hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot and microservices development.
- Experience developing REST APIs and enterprise API solutions.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture using Pub/Sub and Eventarc.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Cloud Build.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Understanding of DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and OpenTelemetry.
- Strong troubleshooting, production support, and technical documentation skills.

Good to Have Skills:

- Experience with Apigee X for API management.
- Knowledge of GraphQL API development.
- Experience with Application Integration and Integration Connectors.
- Frontend development experience using Angular or React.
- Experience building platform portals, dashboards, and enterprise integration solutions.
