Role Summary :

You will own Mynt end-to-end : a multi-service Node / Express Sequelize backend on PostgreSQL, a Vite React TypeScript frontend (a Framework7 mobile-first customer app plus an admin console, packaged with Capacitor), a Gmail-OAuth data-ingestion pipeline that turns raw platform statements into a reconciled financial gold layer, authentication via Keycloak, and the billing, reporting, and notification subsystems on top. You'll design schemas, write the queries, build the APIs, craft the UI, wire the deploys, and reason about the finance logic that makes the numbers correct to the rupee. You are expected to make architectural calls, not just implement them.

Core Responsibilities :

A. Backend &

- Data : Own the Engine :
- Service Architecture : Design and build our Node / Express services - customer, admin, user-center, ingestion, and aggregation - with clean boundaries and well-defined contracts.
- PostgreSQL &
- Data Modelling : Own the schema, migrations, and queries (Sequelize plus raw SQL) across a 20 table financial data model, from bronze ingest to gold aggregates.
- Correctness to the Rupee : Implement and defend the finance logic - payouts, reconciliation, ad spend, taxes - where almost right is wrong; verify against source data every time.
- Jobs, Caching &
- Integrations : Build background processing (BullMQ / Redis), report generation (Puppeteer / exceljs), and third-party integrations (Razorpay billing, WhatsApp / Meta, Keycloak).

B. Frontend &

- Mobile : Own the Experience :
- React TypeScript UI : Build the customer app (Framework7, mobile-first, React Query, local-first Dexie) and the admin console with clean, reusable, strongly-typed components.
- Cross-Platform Delivery : Package and ship via Capacitor, with attention to responsive layout, offline behaviour, and real-device polish.
- Dashboards &
- Reports : Turn dense financial data into fast,



legible dashboards, filters, and downloadable reports customers actually trust.
- Design Sensibility : Care about the details - states, empty cases, loading, accessibility - so the product feels finished, not merely functional.

C. Data Pipeline &

- Platform Logic :
- Ingestion : Extend the Gmail-OAuth pipeline that fetches, parses, and normalises Zomato / Swiggy statements, including drift-tolerant, config-driven parsing.
- Bronze ?

Gold Aggregation : Own the aggregators that roll raw orders into reconciled daily / weekly / monthly financial metrics - accurate, idempotent, and re-runnable.

- Config-Driven Engines : Evolve the config-driven mapping / formula layer so onboarding a new platform or fixing a formula is data, not a code fork.
- Observability of Data : Build the checks, logs, and reconciliation tooling that catch bad data before a customer does.

D. Delivery, Quality &

- Operations :
- Ship End-to-End : Take features from schema to deploy across every service, using our git-based deploy flow across environments and boxes.
- Testing &
- Verification : Write meaningful tests (Vitest / Jest / node : test) and verify real output on real data before calling it done.
- Debugging &
- Root Cause : Systematically chase bugs to their root cause across the full stack - frontend, backend, data, and infra.
- Performance : Keep queries, pages, and pipelines fast as data volume and the customer base grow.

E. Ownership, Standards &

- Leadership : Be the One We Rely On :
- Architectural Judgement : Make and defend design decisions across the stack; weigh trade-offs and bring recommendations, not just questions.
- Raise the Bar : Set and uphold code, review, and documentation standards the team can build on.
- Mentoring : Level up other engineers and make yourself replaceable in turn - knowledge lives in the codebase and docs, not just in your head.
- Partner with the Business : Translate product and finance requirements into correct, shippable software, working directly with leadership.





Role's Requirements : A True Full-Stack Owner

We're looking for a genuinely full-stack engineer - equal parts backend / data engineer and frontend / mobile craftsperson - comfortable owning a feature from a Postgres migration to a pixel, with the judgement to make architectural calls and the maturity to be trusted with the whole product.

Must-Have Skills &

Experience :

- Full-Stack Engineering Experience : 6-10 years shipping production web / mobile products end-to-end, owning both backend and frontend.
- Node.js &
- APIs : Deep experience with Node / Express (or similar), REST API design, auth, and service architecture.
- PostgreSQL &
- Data Modelling : Solid relational modelling, migrations, and non-trivial SQL - you're comfortable in the database, not just an ORM.
- React &
- TypeScript : Production React TypeScript, state / data management (React Query or similar), and component architecture.
- Correctness-Critical Domains : Experience with data / finance / analytics-heavy products where accuracy and reconciliation matter.
- End-to-End Ownership : A track record of taking features from design through deploy - and making architectural decisions solo.

Should-Have Skills &

Experience :

- Mobile / Cross-Platform : Framework7, Capacitor, React Native, Flutter or equivalent mobile-web delivery.
- Data Pipelines : Experience with ingestion / ETL, background jobs (BullMQ / Redis), and batch / aggregation logic.
- AWS &
- Deployment : Comfortable deploying and operating on AWS (EC2 / RDS / S3), with git-based deploy flows and basic ops.
