Senior Frontend Engineer

Own the surfaces students actually sit in — the mock test interface, analytics and dashboards — where a dropped keystroke or a half-second of lag is the difference between a fair attempt and a ruined one.

Responsibilities

- Build and harden the exam interface: timers, autosave, navigation and offline resilience
- Turn dense performance data into views a student can act on in under a minute
- Hold the line on Core Web Vitals and accessibility across every screen you ship
- Extend the design system deliberately, without letting it sprawl
- Review code with care — you'll set the bar the rest of the team codes to

Requirements

- 3+ years building production React, ideally with Next.js App Router
- Strong TypeScript, and opinions about where types earn their keep
- Demonstrable care for performance and accessibility, not just features
- Comfort owning a surface end to end, from problem framing to production

Preferred Skills Nice to have, not required — apply even if none of these are true of you.

- Experience with realtime or timing-critical interfaces
- Familiarity with Supabase or Postgres
- A track record of mentoring other engineers

- Mock interface holds a p95 interaction latency under 100ms




- Zero critical accessibility regressions shipped to production
- Students complete mocks without support tickets about the interface itself
