Role Description As a Senior Frontend Engineer at CodeXray, you will design and build high-performance, intuitive user interfaces that surface complex observability, SRE, and API security insights in clear and actionable ways. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into robust frontend architectures, reusable components, and scalable design systems.





Your day-to-day work will involve implementing current features, optimizing performance, improving accessibility, integrating with REST and GraphQL APIs, and maintaining high code quality through testing and reviews. You will contribute to technical decisions, mentor other engineers, and help define frontend best practices in a fast-paced, product-focused environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and core web technologies (HTML5, CSS3), with experience building complex single-page applications.
- Hands-on experience with contemporary frontend frameworks and libraries (such as React, Vue, or Angular) and state management patterns (e.g., Redux, MobX, or equivalent).
- Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, including authentication, error handling, and data visualization.
- Knowledge of performance optimization, responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility practices.
- Experience with frontend build tools and workflows (Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm/yarn, linting, formatting) and version control systems such as Git.
- Background in testing frontend code using unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright).
- Ability to design and maintain UI component libraries
