Role Description The Senior Field Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Cuddalore. This role involves visiting merchants and local businesses daily to promote Paytm’s payment solutions, onboard new customers, and support existing users with product usage and issue resolution.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, conducting product demonstrations, collecting feedback from the market, and sharing insights with the internal team. The representative is expected to maintain accurate records of visits and sales activities, build long-term relationships with merchants, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.



The role requires regular field travel within Cuddalore and adherence to company policies and reporting processes.

Qualifications Solid field sales, business development, and customer relationship skills, with experience in merchant or retail onboarding.

Ability to explain and promote digital payment products clearly, including basic understanding of mobile apps, QR codes, and POS devices.

Solid communication and negotiation abilities, with confidence in interacting with diverse customer groups in person.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and working with performance-driven incentives.

Good organizational and time-management skills to plan daily routes, prioritize visits, and maintain accurate documentation.

Comfort with basic reporting tools (e.g., mobile-based CRM apps, spreadsheets) and regular status updates to managers.

Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field is preferred.

Previous experience in field sales, FMCG, telecom, financial services, or digital payments is an advantage.

Local language proficiency and familiarity with the Cuddalore market are highly beneficial.

Ability to work independently in the field, with integrity, resilience, and a strong customer-first mindset.
