Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Ribbon SBC Engineer to support, manage, and optimize Session Border Controller infrastructure within a complex enterprise/UCC setting. The role involves L2/L3 support, troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of Ribbon (Sonus) SBC platforms to ensure high availability, security, and performance of voice services.

Experiance - 3 to 8 Years

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Support
Provide L2/L3 support for Ribbon SBC (Sonus SBC 1000/2000/5000 series)
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity of SBC infrastructure
Handle incident management, problem management, and service requests
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for voice and signaling issues
Ensure adherence to SLA/KPI compliance

Configuration & Implementation
Configure and manage:
SIP trunks, dial plans, routing policies
Transformation tables (SIP header manipulation)
TLS/SRTP configurations for secure communication
Support new deployments, migrations, and upgrades
Integrate SBC with:
Microsoft Teams (Direct Routing)
Skype for Business / Lync
CUCM / other PBX platforms
