KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that production staff are processing the product lines in accordance with Company, HACCP, FDA, and other certification guidelines.
• Plan and coordinate daily labour requirements with the GM Operations / Factory Manager
• Promote and enforce Employee Hygiene Procedures.
• Ensure that all products meet or exceed all Quality specifications currently in place at the seafood processing facility.
• Respond to non-compliant quality issues, should they arise, and inform the GM Operations / Factory Manager immediately.
• Take a proactive approach to potential production issues
• React to and facilitate equipment repair and maintenance issues.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and monitor performance of production and related operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.

Experience/Skills and Education:

• A minimum of three years in production management experience in a Seafood Industry and equivalent combination of education, BSc Food Science, or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of the seafood processing industry.
