Role Description The Purchase Engineer will manage end-to-end procurement activities for aluminium profiles, glass systems, hardware, and related materials required for doors, windows, and skylights. Day-to-day work includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, preparing and issuing purchase orders, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with project schedules.



The role involves coordinating closely with design, production, and project teams to forecast material requirements, maintain optimal inventory levels, and resolve supply-related issues. The Purchase Engineer will also track vendor performance, monitor quality compliance, and support cost optimization initiatives without compromising product standards. This is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
Strong procurement and vendor management skills, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order management.
Knowledge of engineering materials and components, preferably aluminium systems, glass, architectural hardware, and building products.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials to determine accurate purchasing requirements.
Experience with inventory control, cost analysis, and basic budgeting or cost optimization
