The Role Summary:

We are seeking a .NET Developer with 4–7 years of experience in application development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, SQL Server, and RESTful APIs, along with good knowledge of web technologies.

The role involves developing and maintaining scalable applications, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, supporting production environments, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and productive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core.
- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective application solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement defect fixes.
- Develop and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Write, optimise, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and perform database performance tuning.
- Design, develop, integrate, and consume RESTful APIs.
- Work on Node.js development and application integration as required.
- Develop responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot applications hosted on IIS.
- Work with ADO.NET and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework.
- Support application deployments and troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business analysts, project managers,



and other stakeholders to deliver solutions within defined timelines.
- Participate in production support activities and ensure timely resolution of application issues.
- Follow coding standards, development best practices, version-control processes, and deployment procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and proactively adopt relevant technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–7 years of experience in application development, enhancement, maintenance, and defect fixing.
- Strong hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET 3.5, and SQL Server.
- Good experience with ASP.NET MVC and .NET Core.
- Experience in Node.js development and integration.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including database development, query optimisation, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with ADO.NET.
- Knowledge of Entity Framework or other ORM frameworks is an added advantage.
- Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of IIS deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of Azure services and cloud-based application deployment.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar source-control and deployment tools.
