Senior Director, Application Software Engineering Integrates information from multiple areas to develop, guide, and innovate new application software features and enhancements for design specifications, ensuring accessibility, and to develop documents that clarify application design and code. Leads application-focused design and specification reviews to drive improvements across multiple programs, products, and/or organizations. Provides thought leadership and pioneers new approaches for the group in application software development and quality assurance.

Oversees a group in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application programming interface (API) functionality, integration, and service-to-service interactions. Oversees the design and development of application software, systems, and services.



Cultivates partnerships with stakeholders and senior leaders within and outside the organization to understand customer use cases and align application solutions.

Oversees the group to provide technical guidance and appropriately prioritize support to customers regarding application-related issues. Collaborates with the group and senior leadership to ensure compliance and alignment to evolving/energetic application development best practices and processes. Develops strategic plans and objectives for driving adherence to broad acceptance criteria to impact application development processes across the organization.

Drives strategic initiatives to ensure the group performs periodic maintenance and testing operations for application systems that require upgrading or patching (e.g., for critical vulnerabilities).
