About The Role
Funded by the EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA), a Research Assistant is required for a period of 6 months, full-time, to support the development and translation of an innovative non-thermal plasma (NTP) technology for sustainable water treatment. Based within the Department of Chemical Engineering at Swansea University, the successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary research team working at the interface of engineering, environmental science, and industrial innovation.
The project aims to advance a patented NTP technology for the treatment of a complex waste stream and solids. The research forms part of a broader programme of work in the area of non-thermal plasma and builds on pre
