The Prospect
We are looking for an experienced Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) to provide technical leadership across multiple areas of the Prism platform.
In this role, you will define technical direction, lead the design of complex distributed systems, and drive initiatives that improve the scalability, reliability, security, and operability of the Prism control plane. You will partner closely with architects, engineering managers, and product management to deliver capabilities that span multiple services and engineering teams.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving difficult systems problems, influencing technical strategy, and mentoring engineers through technical leadership rather than organizational authority.
About The Team
The Prism team develops Nutanix's management and control plane, providing a unified platform for managing clusters, infrastructure, virtual machines, storage, and networking across hybrid cloud environments. Our mission is to build a highly available, secure,
and scalable control plane that delivers a consistent management experience for enterprise customers.
Our engineers work on distributed systems, API platforms, lifecycle management, observability, identity and security, and large-scale platform services that form the foundation of the Nutanix ecosystem.
