We are looking for a Traffic Operator to join our team in New Delhi.

Main responsibilities

Contract Planning and Execution:
Follow ups with customer and contract teams for contract signatures / Filing / updating of contracts in timely manner.
Co-ordinate with internal traffic teams for smooth planning and execution of Indian shipments. To ensure that shipments are planned in line with contracts.
Seek out and maintain relationships with other functions within IXM and with our external service providers/customers. Negotiate freight and maintain freight checklists and share net backs of landed numbers for major global destinations.
To keep track of all relevant documentation, such as BLs, COA, COO, Warehouse Releases etc.



and ensure that regulations and formalities are adhered to.
Ensure all contractual notices (Nomination, shipment advice, Documents presentation, Title transfer are done well on time).

Pricing / Hedging control & Exposure control:
Manage pricing records, ensure pricing deposits by customers are furnished as per contractual deadlines.
Coordinate with purchase/sales in charge to convey customers’ pricing orders to IB team in a timely manner and maintain a record. Take this over directly when Traffic in charge aren’t available.
Review pricing exposure daily. Ensure with Traffic in charge to issue Margin Call invoices and highlight to trader immediately if exposure is beyond agreed acceptable levels.

Cost Optimization and continuous improvement:
Record all the operational issues that have resulted in or could have resulted in any financial loss.
