Ramaiah Institute of Science and Management (RISM) wishes to appoint a Deputy Registrar (Evaluation). The core expectation from this job is to ensure the leadership, administration, and execution of all post-examination activities.

This includes managing evaluation centres, coordinating grading processes, ensuring data integrity in result processing, and maintaining strict confidentiality and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Evaluation Operations & Management

Manage evaluation for the centralised or decentralised grading of physical and digital answer scripts.
Appoint qualified examiners, chief examiners, and moderators in consultation with academic deans and boards of studies.
Oversee coding, decoding, and blending of answer booklets to ensure complete student anonymity during the evaluation process.
Examination Planning and Scheduling – Assisting in the preparation of the examination calendar, scheduling semester/supplementary examinations,



and coordinating examination timelines with academic departments.
Examination Administration – Overseeing examination notifications, student examination registration, eligibility verification, and coordination of examination logistics to ensure the smooth conduct of examinations.

Result Processing & Certification

Supervise the tabulation, compilation, and verification of student marks and grades before official publication.
Coordinate with IT and database teams to run result-processing software and resolve technical anomalies.
Verify and authenticate official documents, including grade cards, transcripts, provisional certificates, and degrees.

Grievance Redressal & Quality Assurance

Administer the re-evaluation, re-totalling, and photocopy provision requests submitted by students.
Address student grievances related to results, missing marks, or processing errors within the stipulated timeline.
