About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect to design, develop, and deliver scalable cloud-based data and analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to architect enterprise-grade data platforms, build high-performance data pipelines, and drive data strategy initiatives across finance and analytics domains. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, high-performance data platforms and deliver enterprise-grade analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design and implement end-to-end Azure data engineering and analytics solutions.
- Design scalable data architectures and recommend best practices for performance, security, and reliability.
- Build scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise analytics.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure data architecture follows industry best practices, governance,



and security standards.
- Optimize Spark jobs and SQL queries for high-performance data processing.
- Mentor development teams and provide technical guidance on Azure data technologies.
- Participate in architecture reviews, solution design, and pre-sales discussions.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud and data engineering technologies and recommend improvements.

Preferred Candidate Profile -

- 4-8 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Spark, Python, and SQL.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, or SSIS is an added advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Consulting experience or exposure to Finance Analytics, FP&A;, or Controllership is preferred.
