Role Description The Senior Cyber Security Trainer will design, deliver, and continuously improve advanced cyber security training programs and workshops. This full-time, on-site role in Kochi involves preparing course materials, lab exercises, and assessments, as well as teaching complex concepts in a clear and accessible way.

The trainer will mentor learners, provide individual guidance, and evaluate performance to ensure skill development and certification readiness. Day-to-day tasks include updating content to reflect current threats and best practices, collaborating with internal teams to refine curricula, contributing to research or content for knowledge resources, and supporting outreach activities such as webinars or technical talks.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security,



including understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and security governance.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Network Security, including configuration and hardening of network devices, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network design.
- Candidates should possess deep knowledge of Application Security, including secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, and common application attack vectors.
- Candidates should possess skills in Malware Analysis, including analyzing malicious code behavior, using relevant tools, and explaining mitigation strategies.
- Experience delivering technical training or workshops, with the ability to simplify complex topics and adapt teaching methods to diverse audiences.
- Solid communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Hands-on experience with common security tools, platforms, and labs (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, virtualized lab environments).
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP, or similar are highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Commitment to ethical practices, continuous learning, and staying updated on emerging threats and defense techniques.
