A Junior Technical Analyst (Naval Architect) in a ship management company can support the Technical Superintendent by handling technical documentation, vessel performance analysis, and engineering data while developing into a Technical Superintendent role.

Junior Technical Analyst (Naval Architect)
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain technical records and vessel documentation.
Prepare and update PMS, dry dock, and repair reports.
Review technical reports received from vessels.
Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, CII, SEEMP, IMO DCS, EU MRV, and EU ETS data.
Assist in preparing dry dock specifications, repair lists, and cost estimates.
Review quotations, requisitions, and spare parts specifications.
Prepare technical analysis, trend reports, and KPI dashboards.
Assist with Class, Flag State, and statutory survey planning.
Maintain technical filing and document control.
Coordinate with vessels, suppliers, and service engineers for technical matters.




Support the Technical Superintendent in preparing budgets, technical reports, and management presentations.
Perform technical data entry and maintain MESPAS/PMS/ERP systems.
Assist in root cause analysis for machinery failures and prepare technical investigation reports.
Develop technical drawings, calculations, and engineering studies when required.
