Description

We’re looking for hands‑on DevOps Engineers with a solid grounding in the Azure ecosystem to join our delivery teams working on some of the most exciting digital programmes across multiple industries. You’ll be part of a small, high‑impact product team — working alongside developers, designers, analysts and product owners — helping to drive automation, tooling and cloud infrastructure under the guidance of senior engineers.

We’re big on continuous learning, so you’ll have the chance to work with experienced engineers, explore new technologies and grow your technical capability at pace. This role is the first step in MMR’s DevOps career pathway, giving you the foundation you need to progress into a Level 2 DevOps Engineer role.

Key Responsibilities

Support CI/CD pipelines across Bitbucket and Azure DevOps

Automate deployments using Azure Pipelines, Ansible or Octopus Deploy

Provision cloud infrastructure with Terraform (IaC)

Maintain Azure environments including compute,



storage and networking

Work with containers across Docker and Kubernetes setups

Monitor systems using Grafana, Turbo360 and Azure Monitor

Troubleshoot build and pipeline issues and escalate when needed

Collaborate across Dev, QA and Agile teams to support smooth delivery

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Azure fundamentals with experience across core services, Entra and cloud best practices

CI/CD tooling using Bitbucket and Azure DevOps

Containers & orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes and AKS

Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, Bicep or Helm

Scripting capability in PowerShell, Bash, Python and AZ CLI

Monitoring & logging with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor and Log Analytics

Configuration management awareness across DSC, Ansible, Puppet, Chef or SaltStack

Version control & Agile delivery using Git within modern DevOps/Agile teams
