We are looking for a skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, Cucumber, and Web Services Testing (REST/SOAP). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Cucumber.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
- Perform REST and SOAP API/Web Services Testing.
- Create and maintain automation frameworks and reusable test components.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement analysis,
test planning, and test case reviews.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure software quality by following testing best practices and Agile methodologies.
Required Skills
- 4-6 years of experience in Automation Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Proficiency in Java programming.
- Experience with Cucumber (BDD Framework).
- Hands-on experience in REST and SOAP Web Services Testing.
- Knowledge of TestNG or JUnit.
- Experience with Maven and Git.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Exposure to performance testing tools is an added advantage.
