Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive networking and IT expertise in
a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative
teammates.
You'll play a key role in delivering complete Network and IT/AVP specifications
and designs consistent with the System Delivery Plan and contractual
requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business
(such as subsystem leads, signalling architects, and program teams), lead
technical decision-making processes, and ensure compliance with engineering
rules and project milestones.
You’ll specifically take care of designing and reviewing N&T; Backbone
Transmission Network (BTN) specifications and ensuring alignment with
cybersecurity and network standards, but also support installation, testing, and
commissioning activities when required.
We’ll look to you for:
* Delivering efficient Network and IT/AVP design documents aligned with defined
architecture and methods
* Providing technical direction and expertise on Alstom DCS solutions and
technologies
* Collaborating with global teams and facilitating the exchange of information
* Leading and coordinating detailed design activities, including configuration,
surveys, and validation
* Contributing to proof-of-concept studies and evaluating recent design
capabilities
* Providing training and sharing technical expertise within teams and sites
