Role Description The Traffic Scheduler at Suryan FM is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for preparing and managing the daily broadcast log, scheduling advertisements, promos, and program elements to ensure accurate and timely on-air delivery.



The Traffic Scheduler coordinates closely with sales, programming, and production teams to confirm commercial placements, resolve scheduling conflicts, and maintain inventory records. Daily tasks include updating traffic systems, verifying booked campaigns, tracking spots aired against client agreements, and generating traffic and reconciliation reports. The role also involves monitoring adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines, maintaining high attention to detail, and supporting smooth station operations during live and recorded shows.

Schedule Commercial advertisements & Tags in traffic system (SAP & RCS software).
Air Spots in compliance with AIR Broadcast code requirements.
Ensure accurate spot placement according to Agency/Client RO’s.
Coordinate with the sales team to procure relevant document for booking & executing campaigns.
Coordinate with the programming team for effective inventory man
