The AVP – Backup & Storage Engineering is accountable for the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise backup and storage services across a highly regulated APAC setting. The role is responsible for ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for resiliency,



auditability, and regulatory compliance, while driving automation and integration with emerging AI-enabled operational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Support design, implementation, enhancement, and lifecycle management of enterprise backup and recovery solutions, including Commvault and/or NetBackup platforms.
Maintain enterprise storage solutions spanning SAN, NAS, Object Storage, and Cloud-integrated storage services.
Ensure backup and recovery services support business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience requirements.
Define and maintain platform roadmaps, technology standards, and engineering best practices aligned with MUFG strategic objectives.
Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for backup and storage technologies across the APAC infrastructure landscape.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve resiliency,
