Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Role Purpose
The Business Development Manager (BDM) / Recent Age Sales Manager will serve as the analytics and business effectiveness partner to the Zonal Manager. The role is responsible for driving data-led decision-making, enhancing sales productivity, identifying growth opportunities, strengthening performance governance, and championing digital transformation initiatives across the zone.
The incumbent will act as the single point of contact for business analytics, performance tracking, market insights, sales effectiveness, and adoption of digital tools to improve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analytics & Performance Management

Act as the single source of truth for all zonal business data, analytics, dashboards, and performance reporting.

Monitor and analyze key business KPIs including: Primary Sales, Secondary Sales, Product-wise Performance, Distributor Performance. Market Development Initiatives, Retail Growth Drivers, Retailer & Mechanic Loyalty Programs,



Digital Adoption Metrics and Sales Team Productivity Indicators

Develop and continuously enhance business dashboards to enable real-time decision making.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of business data through regular validation and reconciliation with Head Office reports.
Proactively identify performance gaps, key trends, risks, and growth opportunities through data-driven insights.

2. Strategic Decision Support to Zonal Manager

Partner closely with the Zonal Manager in driving business performance and growth initiatives.
Provide actionable insights on: Territory-wise performance gaps, Distributor opportunities, Category and product interventions, Market opportunities, Emerging business trends and Competitive developments
Facilitate structured monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
Create performance scorecards, management dashboards, review decks, and executive presentations.
