What you'll own:
The Trust organization powers the systems that establish trust across the Walmart Marketplace ecosystem by detecting fraud, enforcing marketplace policies,
protecting customers and sellers, and enabling compliant business operations at scale.
The growing sophistication of fraud patterns, regulatory requirements, and AI-driven capabilities demands a cohesive architectural vision across multiple platforms and domains.
We are looking for a Distinguished Architect to define the technical strategy, shape next-generation risk platforms, drive architectural excellence across engineering teams, and influence enterprise-wide technology decisions that strengthen Walmart's trust ecosystem.
Architecture & System Design
Lead end-to-end technical design for complex initiatives involving from API contracts, UI interfaces and data models to distributed system topologies and cross-cutting concerns.
Drive platform standardization by defining and documenting reference architectures, design patterns, and implementation guardrails that teams adopt
