As a Pega Tester, a typical day involves designing, planning, and executing test strategies to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of Pega-based applications. The role requires close collaboration with Pega developers, business analysts, product owners, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure that solutions meet business and technical expectations. Roles & Responsibilities
- Expected to be an SME in Pega testing and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure effective testing and quality assurance.
- Responsible for planning and executing testing activities across Pega applications and solutions.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing of Pega applications.
- Validate Pega workflows, case management, business rules, integrations, data flows, and user interfaces.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects using appropriate defect management tools.
