PACCAR India is looking for a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune, specializing in the design development and Integration of chassis frame and its components on vehicle.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at PACCAR, your expertise will be leveraged in Layout development, component packaging, installation drawing, and coordination with cross functional team to ensure engines are installed safely, efficiently and compliant with technical requirements

Job Function / Responsibilities:
Chassis frame and components layout development, including mounting systems, brackets, and interfaces.
Preparation of 3D CAD design and create detailed engineering drawings,
including GD&T;, BOM creation for vehicle frame.
Layout and packaging of components such as AdBlue, fuel tank, battery, air tanks.
Perform calculations related to clearances, envelopes and mass properties.
Work on large assemblies, including effective use of simplified representations.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams locally and globally to ensure design alignment and manufacturability.
The primary function for this position includes:
Execution on CAD – sheetmetal, advance modeling and assembly, drawing.
Understand design requirements, clearance check, drawing standards, GD&T;, and Bill of Material (BOM).
Experience in frame & its components.
Collaborate with team members by offering assistance.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Production Engineering
