Senior Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid Pune

Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining modern web applications for the Bentley Infrastructure Cloud product line. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in React based frontend development, cloud native solutions on Microsoft Azure, and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps. The position offers the opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies, collaborate with global, cross functional teams, and deliver high quality, user centric solutions that support Bentley’s infrastructure and engineering products.

Responsibilities:

Design and build scalable, production-grade front-end applications using React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), with strong focus on maintainability, accessibility, and performance.
Own front-end architecture and technical design decisions, applying responsive design, object-oriented principles, and proven design patterns to deliver intuitive, user-friendly UI/UX and navigation.




Apply AI-assisted engineering workflows responsibly, using developer copilots and intelligent tooling to accelerate scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, and analysis while ensuring code quality, security, and production readiness through human judgment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams to analyse requirements, solve complex problems, and propose effective technical solutions and workflows.
Take full ownership of production-level code, adhering to coding standards, participating in code reviews, debugging and root-causing complex issues, and maintaining transparent technical documentation.

Collaborate with backend teams to design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient integration between frontend and backend services.
