Position details
The APAC Data Network Engineering Lead is accountable for leading the engineering function to design, build, automate, secure, modernise, and continuously improve the Bank's APAC data network.



This combined technical and people leadership role leads and develops the regional engineering team while retaining strong hands-on technical ownership across data centre, campus, WAN, wireless, Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, and network automation domains.
The position sets technical direction, establishes engineering standards, acts as the senior escalation point for complex issues, and owns end-to-end delivery of network transformation initiatives. The four core technical competencies for this position are: (1) Cisco ACI; (2) Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN; (3) routing protocols - BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP; and (4) Cisco Wireless. Candidates must demonstrate advanced, current, hands-on capability in at least three of these four areas.
