You will be part of the team that is scaling InsuranceNow to serve a growing roster of Tier 1 and Tier 2 insurers around the world, helping them launch new products faster, develop AI capabilities and scale their operations with confidence.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer at our Bengaluru office with strong Java skills to design and build scalable, cloud-native solutions for Guidewire’s InsuranceNow product.



You will help evolve a successful product to its next-generation cloud architecture and scale it to more Tier 1 and Tier 2 insurance companies across the globe, enabling them to set up and grow their insurance businesses efficiently and reliably. This is a senior individual contributor role within Guidewire’s Product Development organization.
Job Description
What you will do:
Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and senior engineering leadership across Product Development and Cloud Operations to design and deliver product features.
Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native services and integrations for InsuranceNow, with a strong focus on Java-based solutions.
Lead the architecture and development of integrations between InsuranceNow and third-party systems commonly used in the insurance industry.
Design systems that can scale horizontally to support more Tier 1 and Tier 2 insurers, with transparent focus on performance, resilience, observability, and operability.
