Manager, Accounting - ASC 842 Lease Accounting
Overview

The Global Business Solutions Center (GBSC) is a shared services organization within Mastercard whose mission is to add value to our partners and serve our customers by delivering operational excellence, enhanced customer experiences, and focused business results.

The Manager, Accounting will play a key leadership role within Mastercard's global controllership organization, with responsibility for overseeing the accounting, reporting, and governance of Mastercard's global lease portfolio.



This position will partner closely with Corporate Real Estate, Technical Accounting, Controllership, Financial Systems, and regional finance teams to ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting of lease-related activities in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting expertise, experience managing complex lease accounting processes, and a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. This role aligns with the broader expectations for GBSC accounting leadership, including ownership of accounting close activities, financial reporting, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
