The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust UI automation frameworks, creating and executing automated test scripts, and collaborating with various teams to define test strategies and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Playwright API testing, or REST Assured.




- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve defects.
- Ensure test automation follows coding standards, best practices, and reusable design principles.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews for automation scripts.

Required Skills :

- Experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) for UI automation
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with test automation
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, Playwright API testing, or REST Assured
