Job Summary

At PwC our Consulting professionals from Physical Product Development & Manufacturing (PPDM) team partner with clients across diverse industries to address critical business challenges and drive transformation in how products are designed, engineered, and manufactured. The team delivers impact through strategic advisory and implementation services in the areas of Connected Physical Products, Digital Engineering, Product Development Excellence, Digital Manufacturing and Manufacturing Excellence - enabling organizations to design, develop, manufacture, and optimize products more efficiently across the entire product lifecycle.

As a Senior Associate, you will work with cross-functional teams to develop innovative connected products by applying electrical engineering principles across system architecture, PCB design, sensor integration, wireless connectivity, and product validation. You will support product development through prototyping, testing, and production.

Position Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate substantial experience and / or knowledge in one or more of the following areas

- Electrical System Design and Architecture: Knowledge and application of electrical engineering concepts, components, circuits, and system architectures used in connected products and IoT devices
- NPI and Product Development: Experience across NPI and full product development lifecycles,



including system design, prototyping, integration, testing, validation, and engineering analysis for connected products, with emphasis on some aspect of RF system design (e.g., BT, WiFi, UWB, LoRa, cellular), power supply design (buck/boost, switch mode power supplies), circuit simulation (LTSpice or PSpice) and certification/ regulatory testing (FCC, UL, reliability)
- Hardware Bring-up and Troubleshooting: Experience bringing up, troubleshooting, characterizing, and collecting data from sensors, circuits, boards, and system-level designs, including ability to rework PCB with soldering equipment
- Embedded Hardware Platforms and Interfaces: Demonstrate understanding of OrCAD/Allego or similar ECAD tools, MCU (microcontroller) and/or SoC (System on Chip), battery operated devices, common buses (some combination of I2C, SPI, USB, MIPI), common sensors/peripherals (accelerometer, temperature, displays)
- Technical Documentation and Design Specifications: Experience developing engineering documentation including block diagrams, schematics, component selection criteria, technical requirements, and test plans to support product development and validation

Qualifications:

Educational Background

- Masters/ bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Prior relevant work experience aligned with the required knowledge and skills
- Senior Associate: 7-10 years of experience

Preferred Industry Experience:
- Experience in Consumer Markets, Industrial Products, Technology, Telecommunications, Pharma & Life Sciences, or related industries developing connected products and IoT solutions
