The Legal Counsel – Artificial Intelligence & Data is a permanent and full-time Associate Manager role to support the Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Data business within Accenture Technology. The successful candidate will possess strong legal expertise in technology-related matters, including software, SaaS and emerging AI solutions, and will work closely with business, legal and asset teams to support the development, assessment and commercialization of AI & Data offerings. The role is part of Accenture’s Global Services Legal (GSL) organization, whose mission is to drive sustainable business growth by providing deep legal expertise at the intersection of business strategy, industry and technology in a highly dynamic workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Data business team within Accenture Technology by conducting assessments of new services, products and offerings, and provide product counsel support as solutions are prepared for market launch.
Develop subject matter expertise in AI & Data and act as a key point of contact, together with other members of the team, for business and asset teams.
Collaborate with legal colleagues across multiple practice areas, including Resale, Strategic Partnering, Intellectual Property, Data Privacy, Regulatory and Contracting teams.
Support Contracting teams as product counsel and subject matter expert regarding templates, playbooks and selected transactional matters.
Support Accenture Ventures & Acquisitions legal and business teams in evaluating prospective AI & Data acquisition targets.
Conduct legal research and support analysis on emerging technology, regulatory and business issues.
Support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of legal processes, tools and operational efficiency initiatives.
