We are seeking a Quality Supervisor for a well established manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career Quality Engineer or experienced Quality Technician who is ready to move into a supervisory position.
The Quality Supervisor will oversee third shift quality activities, support production, resolve quality concerns, and help train employees on quality procedures and expectations.
Responsibilities
Oversee quality activities and provide hands on support during third shift
Supervise and train quality personnel and production employees
Respond to quality issues and help determine root causes
Support corrective and preventive actions
Review inspection results and ensure parts meet customer specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and quality documentation
Work closely with production and engineering to resolve manufacturing concerns
Monitor compliance with established quality procedures
Maintain accurate inspection and quality records
Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Quality Engineer, Quality Technician, or similar experience
Interest in taking on supervisory and employee training responsibilities
Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills
Familiarity with quality systems, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Strong communication and problem solving abilities
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Willingness to work third shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Previous leadership experience is helpful but not required
