Outsourcing Advantage is a boutique business process outsourcing provider specializing in back-office and customer support services for US-based companies. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to take ownership of an existing AI-generated bookkeeping software platform and drive it through completion.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-sufficient, solution-oriented developer who can independently assess, troubleshoot, improve, and deliver a complex software product with minimal direction. The ideal candidate has solid full stack development expertise, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and proven experience taking software projects from planning to production.
This is a temporary remote position expected to last approximately 8 months.
Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of an existing bookkeeping software platform
Analyze the current system architecture, codebase, and business logic
Identify technical, functional, and financial data integrity issues
Design and implement scalable solutions to improve system performance,



reliability, and usability
Independently prioritize development tasks and drive projects with minimal supervision
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure accounting workflows, financial calculations, reports, and outputs are accurate and reliable
Debug, refactor, optimize, and enhance the existing codebase
Create and maintain technical documentation when necessary
Conduct comprehensive testing and validation to ensure software quality and financial data accuracy
Deliver the platform to a production-ready state
6-7+ years of professional experience in full stack software development
Proven experience owning software projects from planning through deployment
Solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping workflows, and financial reporting
Experience inheriting, reviewing, and improving existing software
