Position details
The Senior Middleware Operations & SRE Engineer is responsible for the strategic engineering, operational management, and continuous improvement of the Bank's middleware platforms across the APAC region.



The role provides technical leadership for enterprise middleware technologies, ensuring secure, resilient, scalable, and highly available platforms that support critical business applications and services.
The incumbent will drive platform standardization, automation, operational excellence, and service reliability while ensuring compliance with MUFG's technology, cybersecurity, risk, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with application teams, infrastructure engineering, security, architecture, and regional technology stakeholders, the role will lead the design, implementation, and support of modern middleware platforms, including containerized and cloud-enabled environments.
