DESCRIPTION
Join our team as an Import/Export Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you will contribute to managing international logistics operations for Chemicals and consumables. You will coordinate all aspects of importing and exporting goods while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and quality standards with focus on Export of Chemicals. In collaboration with internal teams and external partners,



you will optimize logistics processes, manage documentation, and support continuous improvement in our global supply chain operations. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for custom clearance activity for Air/Courier and Sea shipments
Coordinate with Custom House Agent for clearance activity
Ensure cargo is cleared from Customs on time as per TAT and set objectives
Coordinate with Freight forwarder for cargo pickup and follow up for expediting shipments
Coordinate with Order Processing team and Warehouse operations for required documents for pickup and custom clearance activities as per regulations
Establishing a single point of contact for all Export related coordination for Chemicals and communicating with all the stakeholders
