Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Planner to join our precision
manufacturing team. As a Machined Parts Planner at Precitech, you will play a
pivotal role in the production process by meticulously planning the
manufacturing of precision machined parts. You will collaborate with various
teams to ensure efficient production scheduling, material procurement, and
adherence to quality standards.

Specific Duties:





* Develop comprehensive plans for the machining of precision parts considering
factors such as production capacity, lead times, and resource availability.
* Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely acquisition of raw
materials, tools, and components required for machining operations.
* Generate and manage work orders, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources
effectively to meet production schedules in the ERP system.
* Analyze inventory levels to ensure an appropriate balance between supply and
demand. Utilize inventory management software to track usage, lead times, and
forecast requirements. Implement strategies to minimize excess and obsolete
inventory.
* Continuously monitor and adjust production schedules to optimize workflow,
minimize downtown, and maximize efficiency.
